This Luminos Inc. (“Luminos”, “we”, or “us”) Privacy Notice applies in the following contexts: (1) When you use Luminos websites that link to this Privacy Notice (the “Sites”) and (2) in certain scenarios in the use of our products and services (the “Services”).
On the Sites, personal data we collect may include names, emails, job titles, phone numbers, addresses, IP addresses, conversations, attended events, browsing data such as web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked, professional or business related interests and characteristics and communication traits
On the Services, personal data we collect is limited to our Customers’ business user account information and related usage information. We may also be provided personal data by our Customers, where they are the controller and we are the processor.
On the Sites, personal data may either be collected directly from the concerned individuals, sometimes with the help of our service providers, such as our website host or analytics tools, or by other third parties such as our marketing and business partners.
On the Services, personal data is collected directly from our Customers and their users, sometimes with the help of our service providers, such as our security tools.
When you visit our Sites, we may obtain certain information by automated means, such as cookies, web beacons, web server logs and other technologies. We may use third-party analytics services on our website, such as Google Analytics. The information we obtain through such analytics services may be disclosed to or collected directly by these services. These technologies and analytics services help us (1) remember your information so you do not have to re-enter it; (2) track and understand how you use and interact with our our Sites; (3) tailor the Sites around your preferences; (4) measure the usability of our Sites and the effectiveness of our communications; and (5) otherwise manage and enhance our Sites, and help ensure they are working properly.

In order to conduct our business and operate our Sites, we may share web analytics (which may constitute personal information) collected on the Sites with the providers of such web analytics. Luminos complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“EU-U.S. DPF”), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF (“UK Extension”), and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (“Swiss-U.S. DPF”) (EU-U.S. DPF, UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, collectively, the “Data Privacy Framework” or “DPF”) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the processing of personal data received from the European Union, the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar), and Switzerland in reliance on the DPF.
Luminos has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the DPF Principles with respect to such personal data. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy notice and the DPF Principles, the DPF Principles shall govern. Luminos has mechanisms in place designed to help assure compliance with the DPF Principles. Luminos conducts an annual self-assessment of its personal data processing practices to verify that the attestations and assertions Luminos makes about its DPF privacy practices are true and that Luminos’s privacy practices have been implemented as represented and in accordance with the DPF Principles
In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework, Luminos commits to resolve complaints about its collection and use of the personal information received in reliance on the DPF. EU, UK and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of personal data received in reliance on the DPF should first contact Luminos at privacy@luminos.ai with the subject “Data Privacy Framework”.
In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework, Luminos commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the DPF to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your Data Privacy Framework Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your Data Privacy Framework Principles-related complaint to your satisfaction, please visit https://www.jamsadr.com/DPF-Dispute-Resolution for more information or to file a complaint. The services of JAMS are provided at no cost to you. If neither Luminos nor our dispute resolution provider resolves your complaint, you may have the possibility, under certain conditions, to invoke binding arbitration through the Data Privacy Framework Panel.
Luminos is responsible for personal data that we receive under the Data Privacy Framework, including where it transfers such personal data to a third party acting as our agent. Luminos complies with the DPF Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, UK, and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions, unless Luminos proves that it is not responsible for the event giving rise to damage. Please be aware that we may be required to disclose personal data that we receive under the DPF in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Luminos’s compliance with the Data Privacy Framework.
We offer you choices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data and we will respect the choices you make in accordance with applicable law. You may choose (opt-out) whether your personal data is (i) disclosed with a third party or (ii) to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. You may indicate your choice by clicking through the appropriate dialogue box to opt out or by emailing us at privacy@luminos.ai.
Please note that if you decide not to provide us with certain personal data, you may not be able to access certain features of the Luminos Sites or Services.
If you are a User of the Service you may correct, update, or delete your account information, please log on to your Luminos account and update your profile.
We may periodically send you marketing communications that promote our products and services consistent with your choices. YOU MAY OPT OUT FROM RECEIVING SUCH COMMUNICATIONS BY FOLLOWING THE UNSUBSCRIBE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE COMMUNICATION YOU RECEIVE OR EMAILING US AT privacy@luminos.ai. Please note that we may still send you important service-related communications regarding our Services, such as communications about your subscription or account, service announcements, or security information.

Depending on applicable data protection laws, those rights may include asking us to provide certain information about our collection and processing of your personal data or requesting access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Any information you provide to us for verification purposes will only be used to process and maintain a record of your request.
As described above, we may also process personal data that has been submitted by a Customer to our Service. If your personal data has been submitted to the Service by or on behalf of a Customer and you wish to exercise your privacy rights, please direct your request to the relevant Customer.
